Q : What is Local Standard Mail?

A : Local Standard Mail refers to postcards, small items or letters packaged in standard padded or non-padded envelopes and mailed via a postbox or post office and then delivered directly into the designated addressee’s letterbox by the standard postal service within 2* working days.
* Any errors in the given address may result in a delay of up to 6 working days. In all cases, the order will be returned to our office. We will contact the customer to inform him/her about the returned mail and arrange for a re-delivery of the order.

Q : What can I do if I have not received my purchase which was dispatched via Local Standard Mail?

A : The most frequent cause of delivery failure is an incorrect mailing address. To avoid such occurrences, we encourage our customers to verify the addresses keyed into our forms before submission.

We seek our customers’ understanding that their order must first be returned to our office before we can verify the necessary particulars and re-dispatch (mail) the order. All our mailed purchases bear a return address.

The time needed for us to re-dispatch orders is about 5 working days.

Q : What is a Local Registered Article?

A : A Local Registered Article service is an add-on feature to the Local Standard Mail. A unique identification code is assigned to your article and recorded in a postal register to enable tracking at all points throughout the mailing route. This feature ensures that your purchase is delivered to your door, and a record of proof of delivery is filed.

The average time taken for all registered mails sent within Singapore is 4* working days.
* Any errors in the delivery address supplied may result in a delay. In all cases, orders sent by registered mail can be tracked and will eventually be returned to our office (after 10 to 14 working days). We will contact the customer to inform him/her about the returned mail and arrange for a re-delivery of the order.

Q : What can I do if I have not received my purchase which was sent via Local Registered Mail?

A : As all purchases sent by Local Registered Mail will have a unique identification code recorded in a postal register, it is traceable at all points throughout the delivery process.

It is extremely rare that purchases sent by Local Registered Mail service do not reach their destination. Should you not receive your purchases or find any delivery advice memo after 5 working days, please Contact us and we can assist you in tracking your purchase.

Incorrectly entered delivery addresses may result in a delay. Orders sent by registered mail can be tracked and will eventually be returned to our office. We will contact the customer to inform him/her about the returned mail and arrange for a re-delivery of their order.

Should you suspect that a wrong address has been submitted, please Contact us immediately. We may be able to make the appropriate changes to the mailing address, or trace the Registered Mail by its unique Registered Article Number to reduce potential additional costs and waiting time.

Q : What happens if no one is present at the delivery address to receive the Registered Mail?

A : As a standard practice, a memo comprising delivery advice will be slipped underneath the door. You can collect your purchase (registered article) from the designated/nearest post office with this memo and your NRIC, redirect it to another post office at your convenience or reschedule for another delivery to your address.

If you are collecting the item from the post office, you need to bring along your NRIC and the delivery advice memo.

Q : What happens if I forget to collect my article from the post office?

A : If you have not claimed your registered article item within 10 days, the post office will return your purchase to our office.

Q : What happens if I can’t locate the delivery advice memo?

A : With every delivery attempt for a Registered Mail article, a delivery advice memo is issued by the post office for the recipient (you, our customer) to acknowledge receipt of the article (your purchase).

In cases where delivery is unsuccessful, the delivery advice memo will be slipped underneath the door of your designated mailing address. You can use it to collect your purchase (registered article) from the post office with your NRIC. Should this memo go missing, please Contact us immediately. We can issue the Registered Article Number, and you can still collect your order from the designated post office without a delivery advice memo.
